In May 2026, the Guangzhou New Energy and Intelligent Vehicle Development Promotion Association and the School of Future Technology, South China University of Technology (SCUT), jointly established the Intelligent Vehicle Big Data Joint Innovation Center. The center is dedicated to advancing the high‑quality development of electrified and intelligent transportation systems. Its mission is to foster collaborative research in intelligent vehicle big data analytics, operational data modeling for mobility systems (including plug‑in electric vehicles, eVTOL aircraft, and robotics) battery management, fault diagnosis, safety warning systems, industrial analysis, and policy consulting. By integrating the Association’s industrial resources and platform‑based data service capabilities with the School’s research strengths in vehicle big data analysis, intelligent modeling, battery state assessment, energy consumption prediction, and operational safety evaluation, the center serves as a collaborative platform for joint research, academic exchange, project incubation, and technology transfer. Looking forward, the center will continue to support data‑driven innovation and provide technical support for the intelligent operation, safety management, and sustainable development of electrified and intelligent mobility solutions.
