Recently, the Department of Education of Guangdong Province unveiled the list of approved key scientific research platforms and projects for its higher education institutions. Among the selected initiatives is a key area project on Artificial Intelligence (Intelligent Robotics) awarded to the TRANS research group, titled “AI-Enabled Integration of Transportation, City, Grid, and Storage.” The project will leverage artificial intelligence to research the intelligent coordination and optimization of novel, complex multi-energy systems within an integrated transportation-urban-grid-storage framework.
