The TRANS Group from South China University of Technology has won the National First Prize in the Student Track of the 2026 China Youth Science and Technology Innovation “Jiebang Guashuai” Competition. From October 11 to 13, 2026, Prof. Shiqi Ou and PhD student Hao Jing attended the final competition in Changping, Beijing. The team presented the project entitled “Zhixin Huice: SOC/SOH Joint Estimation and Health Perception System for Lithium Iron Phosphate Power Batteries under Complex Dynamic Conditions” and was awarded the First Prize after expert evaluation. The project focuses on intelligent battery management for new energy vehicles and aims to improve battery state perception and safety management under complex real-world operating conditions. This achievement demonstrates the research capabilities of the TRANS Group in intelligent transportation energy systems and AI-enabled battery management.
