The TRANS Group at South China University of Technology has received an Honorable Mention in the campus round of the China International College Students’ Innovation Competition (2026). The project, titled “Carbon‑Wisdom Habitat: Integrated Traffic‑Energy Smart Park Management Platform,” is supervised by Prof. Shiqi Ou and Prof. Zhenhong Lin of the School of Future Technology, with technical guidance from PhD candidate Hao Qi. The interdisciplinary undergraduate team is led by Zijing Zhou.
Addressing the disconnect between transportation and energy systems in conventional parks, the project integrates digital twin and AI technologies to develop a smart management platform for vehicles, charging infrastructure, and the power grid, supporting charging safety and low‑carbon operations. This represents a preliminary innovation effort by the group in traffic‑energy integration. The team will continue to refine the scheme and advance relevant research toward practical applications.
