Their research spans topics such as global and regional demand for cement and construction materials, the low-carbon development of built environments and infrastructure, urban mining potential, and the impact of emerging energy technologies on critical material supply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the exchange, Prof. Ou delivered a talk titled \u201c<em>Forecast-Driven Evaluation of Energy Policy Effectiveness in Transport Energy Transitions<\/em>\u201d, highlighting the challenges and approaches toward achieving low-carbon targets in the transportation field. He&nbsp;further explored the evolution of policies, technological transformations, and carbon impact assessments in China&#8217;s auto industry under the dual-carbon strategy. The presentation sparked great interest and in-depth discussions among attendees.
