The salon focused on the idea of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications in different fields of study,&nbsp;with nearly 30 undergraduate students in attendance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Wen briefly introduced the research agenda of the TRANS Research Group and delved into other aspects of AI applications in transportation. &nbsp;After the talks, the students exchanged ideas with the&nbsp;guest speakers in an enthusiastic, scholarly environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/www.translab.top\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/\u56fe\u72472-1-1024x768.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-822\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.translab.top\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/\u56fe\u72472-1-1024x768.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.translab.top\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/\u56fe\u72472-1-300x225.png 300w, https:\/\/www.translab.top\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/\u56fe\u72472-1-768x576.png 768w, https:\/\/www.translab.top\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/\u56fe\u72472-1-1536x1152.png 1536w, https:\/\/www.translab.top\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/\u56fe\u72472-1-2048x1536.png 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr.\u00a0Wen graduated with a doctoral degree in transportation engineering from the University of Tennessee in 2024. Before this, Dr. Wen received a master\u2019s degree in environmental science and management from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2017.
